Say TIMBER to Hunger on the Trail

With spring in full swing and summer right around the corner we're
itching to get outside more. And a long day up on Cougar Mountain calls for a hearty snack... something easy to eat but loaded with nutrient-dense calories from whole food ingredients. Oh, and it needs to be yummy and chewey and good. Luckily, we've got just the thing!

Our friend Mary Goit makes her Belly Timber Bars with premium organic granola and WAX ORCHARDS concentrated fruit juice sweetener. Originally, she made the bars as a healthy snack for her kids because she was concerned about giving them processed snack foods. She based her recipe on the granola her own mother had baked for the family. But once the bar's nutritional anaysis came back, Mary soon realized she had much more than a children's afternnon snack.

The Belly Timber Bar is a must-have for skiers, hikers, backpackers and climbers because it's loaded with high-quality calories and it's resistance to temperature extremes. Adventurers love it because it will not melt when it's 90 degrees in Talkeetna and it will not freeze when the temops are below freezing on top of Denali.

We love it, too. because it's made with only premium ingredients by our good friend Mary.
